And So It Begins…

It’s weird to say that I’ve never had a blog or that I’ve never considered starting one. As a person I am overly expressive and enjoy story telling. I am actually known for telling great stories and captivating my audience. Starting a personal blog about my life will hopefully be my way of sharing my experiences. I am studying abroad this summer in Barcelona, Spain and I want to get my foot in the door with this whole blog thing.

Ironically, the longer I study marketing, the more it has come to my realization that I need to see the world in a more creative way. There are so many things going on around us that the little things are often forgotten. If I’m being completely honest, I never really understood what a blog was. It felt like this secret website that people joined and wrote about hipster things that didn’t relate to me in the slightest. Well, I have thankfully figured out that blogs are for people to be creative, spontaneous, adventurous, and honest.

I’m not sure the direction I want to take my blog in, or anything for that matter. What I do know is that I need to open the door to creativity and explore new opportunities to diversify myself.

Here goes nothing. 🙂
